- With hands-on exhibits, your entire family could enjoy a day at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. The center’s 76-foot, curved dome theatre is the only Imax in southern California.
- Behind a lovely fountain is the San Diego Natural History Museum. Children age two and under enter free. In the museum, the world of dinosaurs can be explored through the exhibits and 3D films.

- The pond in front of the Botanical Building is home to Koi fish, water lilies and lotus flowers. The building is a wooden structure built in 1915, and contains nearly 2,100 tropical plants.
