A shopaholic’s delight while in San Diego, here are some of the great malls for your shopping fix.
Westfield Mission Valley Shopping Mall:
At Westfield Mission Valley you can shop, eat or watch a movie. Mission Valley has over 130 stores and more than 30 eateries.
There are many stores ranging from Nordstrom Rack , Macy’s, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Victoria’s Secret, New York & Co. and Cathy Jean.
There are a variety of restaurants at Mission Valley Mall as well.
They also have an AMC theatre that is very popular. If you want to workout, there is also a 24-Hour Fitness located in the mall. If you have children, there’s an arcade called Tilt.
The distance from the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel is 3.9 miles, about 12 minutes away. The mall is open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. but some stores stay open later.

Horton Plaza Mall:
The Horton Plaza Mall is within walking distance of the Manchester Grand Hyatt. There are more than 130 stores and specialty shops. The include upscale shops such as Nordstrom, Macy’s and Louis Vuitton. There are also more affordable stores for men and women like Forever 21 and Wet Seal. In case you need toiletries while on your trip, CVS Pharmacy and Target are also in the mall. If you want to work out there is a 24-Hour Fitness.
The Food Court has a variety of options from restaurants like O‘Brothers, an organic food eatery, to Panda Express. After you shop and eat you might want to relax by watching a movie at the United Artists Horton Plaza 14 Movie Theater in the mall.
Horton Plaza offers concierge service , and parking is $8 an hour. Three hours of free parking is available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m, and the lot is open 24 hours a day.

At Fashion Valley Mall, you can have a fun-filled day in one place. You can shop, eat and catch a movie and even stop by the nail and hair salon. In regular traffic it’s a 10-15 drive from downtown.
Upscale stores include Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Armani Exchange, and Louis Vuitton. Mid-price stores such as Charlotte Russe, Gap, and Hollister Co. are also in Fashion Valley.
Restaurants include Bing Crosby’s Restaurant and Piano Bar, The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s and California Pizza Kitchen. There is also an 18-screen AMC Theater.
